Production Suitability
Every order is checked before production begins. Some materials, coatings, shapes, photo quality levels or artwork details may not be suitable. If there is a problem, we will contact you before production starts.
Photo suitability
- Photos must meet minimum resolution and clarity requirements.
- Dark, blurry or heavily filtered images may not produce acceptable results.
- We will contact you before production if your photo is below threshold.
- Group shots with very small faces may not produce the expected result in small formats.
Logo & artwork suitability
- Logos must be clean, high-contrast and in a supported format (SVG, PDF, PNG preferred).
- Designs with very fine lines or tiny text may not engrave clearly.
- Complex colour gradients are not suitable for single-pass engraving.
- We review all artwork before production — you will be contacted if there is a problem.
Glass & crystal suitability
- Not all shapes, sizes or coatings are available for all personalisation methods.
- Curved surfaces may have restrictions on text size and layout.
- Custom shapes require pre-approval — contact us before ordering.
Event engraving suitability
- On-site engraving is available only for selected products, materials and venues after suitability check.
- Venue type (indoor/outdoor), power requirements and surface access are assessed per booking.
- Not all products in the catalogue are suitable for on-site engraving.
- Event engraving requires pre-booking — it cannot be added on the day.
Material limitations
- Some materials require specialist handling and have longer production lead times.
- Metallic, coated or treated surfaces may affect engraving visibility.
- Material availability may vary — contact us to confirm before ordering.
Custom request review
- Non-standard requests (unusual sizes, bespoke layouts, custom shapes) require pre-review.
- We will always advise you before proceeding with a complex or non-standard order.
- Custom samples may be available on request for large or ongoing projects.
On-site engraving is available only for selected products, materials and venues after suitability check. We assess each enquiry individually. Please contact us before booking to confirm whether your event and products are suitable.
